With your administrative duties in progress, it's time to focus on assembling your team.
Player Registration
If you're taking over an existing team, most players should already be registered with Urmston Town. However, if you're starting a new team or welcoming new players, it's essential to ensure that all players are properly registered. Registration is conducted through the Urmston Town Registration Chatbot System at registration.urmstontownjfc.co.uk. This online system streamlines the process, making it easy for parents to sign up their children. Make sure to direct any new sign-ups to this link and assist them if they encounter any issues. Be mindful of the number of players you register for your team. Aim for around 3 or 4 substitutes to ensure adequate playing time for all players and to keep management of subs straightforward.
Registration Requirements
For a player to participate in matches, they must:
Complete the club's registration process.
Pay the membership fee.
Set up a monthly subscription payment, preferably by Direct Debit.
Provide a passport-style photo for identification purposes.
As a coach, it's important to keep track of who has completed these steps. Encourage parents to finalise registration promptly to ensure their children are eligible to play when the season starts. Proactive communication can prevent last-minute issues that might prevent a child from participating.
